Upcoming 4-H Programs

The 4-H Volunteer Engagement and Art Event will take place in Farmville on Wednesday, December 28th from 10 AM - 4 PM for Cumberland, Campbell, and Nottoway 4-H teens and adult leaders.  This is an opportunity to come together for some fellowship and fun.  The event starts at the Prince Edward Extension Office with lunch catered by Fishin' Pig and then the afternoon activity will take place at Red Door 104 for a pottery project.

Cost is $25/person

4-H Clubs

The Cumberland/Buckingham 4-H Livestock Club (Club Year: October - May) is for youth ages 9-19 with interest in sheep, pigs, cattle and/or goats.  Youth learn about animals during club meetings.  Many of the club members show animals in the Piedmont Area Jr. Livestock Show in Blackstone, VA.   All meetings are currently taking place at the B.A.R.N. facility in Buckingham, VA and take place on the first Monday of each month from 6:30 - 8:00 PM.  For more information, contact the Cumberland Extension Office at 804-492-4390.
